Happy 2 Years Flying!

I thought I will like to write a special post on some of the most memorable trips I have done during my 2 years flying career and at the same time to pen down my thoughts. I enjoy flying not only because of the free travel but also the lifestyle that comes with the job.

P.S. This post was supposed to be posted about 4 years ago and I just realised that it is lying in Trash, remaining unpublished. I wanted to blog about the TOP 5 trips but I didn’t have the time to complete the post.

  1. GREECE, SANTORINI – September 2011

I am not sure how many people has visited Greece before but I was one of the lucky few to have the chance to fly to Athens. In fact, I went there twice, the first time was a rostered flight and the second time was I went there on a solo vacation.I find Mediterranean cuisine so-so except that the fresh seafood like sea bream and calamari were good.

The second bestest trip was to Grand Canyon & Las Vegas. It was a SIN-NRT-LAX (SQ12) flight and upon touchdown into Los Angeles, we made an impromptu decision to visit Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Grand Canyon is breathtaking beautiful, a wonderful sight to behold and seeing the Grand Canyon is an experience everyone should have in their lifetime.

Cairo – The last surviving wonder of the Ancient World and one of the countries you should visit if you can to see the Great Pyramids. It was a 8 days operating pattern SIN-DXB-CAI (SQ492), one of the shiok and relaxing flights. Quite an experience to get close to camel and even feed them.

4. VENICE, ITALY – SEPTEMBER 2011 & OCTOBER 2012

I visited Venice twice in September 2011 and October 2012 from SIN-MXP (SQ378). Most of the European flights that Singapore Airlines operate are midnight departure from Singapore.

The train ride from Milan to Venice is exceptionally scenic which you don’t view and get it from the day-to-day boring MRT ride in Singapore.

This is taken at one of the landmarks of Venice, Rialto Bridge. So nice~ So pretty~ One of my favourite movie is The Tourist stared by Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.
